This Request for Proposals (RFP) is designed to contract with one Design-Build organization for the construction of CDBG-CV (22CV-S42) S. Lake Ave & Cherry Street. The CDBG-CV funds will be used to reconstruct roads, sidewalks, and walkways along Lake Avenue and Cherry Street. This will help facilitate social distancing in support of the Citys efforts to safely re-open public parks and other open spaces in accordance with guidance. All upgrades and modifications covered by funding are within the boundaries of the City of Groveland benefiting all residents. The project service area is comprised of greater than 51% of persons who are low- to moderate income thus meeting the National Objective by primarily benefitting low-to moderate income individuals for Commercial Revitalization. Questions are to be submitted via the Open Gov Procurement platform. If a question is general in nature, an answer will be provided directly to the question. If a question effects the nature of the scope, evaluation criteria, or anything else that may add, change, or clarify a clause within this RFP, an addendum will be issued with the question and answer noted. Question Deadline 07/19/2023 at 11:00 AM ET. If required by the City, the Contractor shall, within ten (10) business days after the total project cost is agreed to by City and Contractor, provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the total sum of the contract; the costs of which all associated costs including recording fees are to be paid by Contractor and are to be listed separately from General Conditions within the agreed upon Schedule of Values.
