The work of this single bid project includes the replacement of emergency generators throughout the campus. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of six (6) natural gas emergency generators of various sizes from Fenton Hall, McEwen Hall, Thompson Hall, Mason Hall, Steel Hall Natatorium, and Carnahan Jackson Center. Removal of one (1) existing diesel fueled generator and above ground storage tank located outside of Steel Hall, and replacement with a natural gas generator with natural gas connection. For each generator in the scope, replace automatic transfer switches, provide remote tap boxes, and emergency e-stop buttons. The project also includes emergency circuits to provide emergency back-up power to existing digital signage in each building. Hazardous materials removal is included in the scope of work. EEO goals for this project: 6% minority workforce and 3% female workforce Contract term: 655 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 12% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 8% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3% Estimated Range - $1,000,000 - $2,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
