furnishing of all labor and materials and for the construction of the certain Project designated as the "VAN BUREN AVE. DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS", Bid No. 2023-032PW, with Contract Documents and Specifications being on file at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall in Tupelo, Mississippi. Bids are related to the construction of drainage improvements to include removal and replacement of existing drainage culverts, pipes, inlets and related infrastructure located along and adjacent to Robins Field within the City of Tupelo. The work will include removal of asphalt pavement, curb & gutter, excavation, drainage inlets, drainage culverts/pipes, etc. in order to make necessary improvements to the existing drainage system along/adjacent to Van Buren Ave. and Eisenhower Dr. The contractor will be required to replace the existing infrastrucutre, which includes the installation of approximately 600 LF of 58"x36" RCAP drain pipe, 32 LF of 36" RCP drain pipe, curb inlets, grate inlets, asphalt pavement, solid sodding, etc. in order to provide improved collection, conveyance and capacity in the existing drainage system. The Project shall make provisions for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to provide the improvements as defined in the Proposal document and as represented in the, Proejct Drawings, General Conditions of Work and Technical Specifications as set forth in the Contract Documents.
