This project consists of installation of ductile iron waterline, services, and pavement restoration. All work must be completed in 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All questions concerning this solicitation must be sent via email to Badenwatersystem@widmerengineering.com no later than (5) five days prior to the due date. Question Deadline 07/12/2023 Email questions to Badenwatersystem@widmerengineering.com. Responses to questions received shall be publicly displayed on the Widmer Engineering Inc. website, widmerengineering.com. All requests for clarification must be received no later than tomorrow and responses will be posted by Wednesday. Addenda, if needed, will be sent out by the end of the day on Thursday Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform this contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates. The Borough of Baden reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Borough.
