The Bidder shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials and perform all work necessary for the Bellamy Parking Garage Upgrade Project in the City of South Lake Tahoe in strict conformance with the Contract Documents (as defined in the Agreement), including, without limitation, the specifications and construction drawings. Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to: pedestrian and traffic control; structural repairs (for Phase 1 only, per Drawing R-001); changes to entry/exit flow and lane configuration; internal striping and flow arrows; vehicle, pedestrian and PARCS signage; relocation of Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) system components; and all other work as described in the Contract Documents, including, without limitation, bid documents, Special Provisions, City of South Lake Tahoe Public Improvements and Engineering Standards, and the 2022 edition of the California Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications and Standard Plans. Type of Award: Lump Sum The Contractor can completely close the parking garage between September 5, 2023 and September 19, 2023 inclusive with proper signage, for selected construction activities that can be most efficiently performed whole the garage is completely closed. After September 19, the Contractor can close selected levels or areas of the garage for work, according to a phasing plan mutually agreed between Contractor and City which is to allow operation of the garage at diminished capacity with appropriate traffic control signage to guide parkers to available spaces and signage to ensure pedestrian safety. Final Completion (as defined in Section 9.9 of the Special Provisions) must be achieved within (Contract Time) on or before October 16, 2023. The estimated cost for the Base Bid Schedule of this Work is in the range of: $230,000 to $275,000. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashiers check, or a bond in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate of the Bid price, including all additive Bid items, as required in the Instructions to Bidders The City, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any errors or discrepancies in the Bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
