Project: Fredericksburg District Bridge Bundling State Project No.: 0017-059-618, B612, C501, P101, R201; 0695-051-588, B606, C501, P101, R201; 0207-016-647, B623, P101, C501; 0614-049-604, B612, M501, P101, R201 Federal Project No.: NHPP-051-6(019); STP-016-6(068); NHPP-059-6(022); STP-049-6(133) The Fredericksburg District Bridge Bundling includes four (4) VDOT owned bridges within the District: Route 17NB over Dragon Run in Middlesex County, Route 695 over Oyster Creek in Lancaster County, Route 207NB over Mattaponi River in Caroline County, and Route 614 over Exol Swamp in King and Queen County. These four bridges are currently designated as structurally deficient having a minimum General Condition Rating (GCR) of 4 due to its substructure (Route 695 over Oyster) or due to its superstructure (Route 17NB over Dragon Run, Route 207NB over Mattaponi River, and Route 614 over Exol Swamp). Route 17NB over Dragon Run, Route 695 over Oyster Creek, and Route 614 over Exol Swamp will be full bridge replacements; Route 207NB over Mattaponi will be a superstructure replacement. VDOT's current estimated contract value for this Project is approximately $38 million dollars.
