It is the express intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to acquire a fully qualified Contractor, licensed to work in Virginia, to provide Upgrades to the Influent Pump Station at the Town of Front Royal Wastewater Treatment Plant. In the event that the Town of Front Royal offices are closed due to inclement weather and/or emergency situations prior to or at the time set aside for receipt of this proposal, the published due date will default to the next open business day at the same time. To be considered, your quote must be submitted on a copy of the BID FORM, signed by a representative authorized to bind the Bidder in the matter, dated and must be received at the Town of Front Royal Purchasing Department A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bidders total bid shall be submitted with the bid. Bid bonds will be held until award of the project and executed Agreement covering the Work, or 60 days, whichever occurs first.
