The WORK includes the construction of a new 300,000 gallons per day advanced mechanical wastewater Treatment Plant at the Purgatory Ski Resort approximately 20 miles north of Durango, Colorado. The plant process will include a new headworks, primary equalization basin, Aqua Nereda secondary treatment process, secondary equalization basins, disk type tertiary filtration, UV disinfection, aerobic sludge digestion, sludge dewatering press, and side stream return flow treatment and storage. The treatment processes will be enclosed within a large single primarily concrete building that will also include administrative, service, and laboratory spaces. Critical treatment spaces will be enclosed, sealed, and provided with regulated air flow to capture all potential odors within an advanced HVAC and Odor Control process. The plant will be equipped with advanced instrumentation and controls systems to provide advanced process automation and control The owner has pre-purchased most of the main process equipment that will be provided to the selected Contractor as described within these specifications. The owner will also provide the project controls and instrumentation integrator to develop and implement the process control system. The selected contractor shall complete all civil construction including grading and drainage, site improvements, and will install and making functional the owner provided process equipment, including all piping, mechanical, electric, instrumentation and controls. The final product shall be a fully functional 300,000 gallon per day mechanical wastewater plant capable of the advanced treatment necessary to meet new nutrient limits as established by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. SITE OF WORK: The site of the WORK is located at 49786 Highway 550 North, Durango CO 81301, approximately 20-miles north of the City of the Durango. Completion of work: the work must be completed within 830 successive days after the Commencement date stated in the notice to proceed.
