The Village of New Straitsville - Main and Clark Sanitary Sewer Lining project consists of 7,300 feet of 8" sanitary sewer cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining, 320 vertical feet (VF) of polyurea manhole lining, and rein- statement of 86 service laterals. Work includes bypass pumping, pre-installation CCTV and pipe jetting/clean- ing, and post installation CCTV and air testing. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract, if awarded the project. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Perry County as determined by the Davis-Bacon Federal Wage Determinations. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner.
