The project is expected to be awarded on August 21, 2023.** This project includes preserving the existing stone seat wall, construct a concrete curb and accessible ramp playground entrance, install new city purchased play equipment and wood fiber surfacing. Playground installer shall be certified by the manufacturer of the playground equipment and has a minimum of five (5) installations of similar size and scope over the past three (3) years and is specialized in installing work similar in material, design, and extent to that indicated for this Project. Owner may reject any and all Bids and waive any minor irregularities in the Bids. The Performance and Payment Bond(s) may be either a single bond or a separate Performance Bond and a Separate Payment (labor and materials) Bond. If a single bond is used, it must be in the amount of two hundred percent (200%) of the Total Bid, and if separate Bonds are used, each must be for one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Bid. The Bond covering payment must comply with Section 3248 of the California Civil Code. Bidders must direct all questions about the meaning or intent of Bidding Documents to Owner in writing no later than the 5th day preceding the date set for the receipt of bids. No addenda will be issued to Bidders after the 2th day preceding the date set for the receipt of Bids.
