Per Rivers & Associates project is currently rebidding. Sealed Bids for the construction of the Pitt County Bridge No. 29 Water Main Relocation The Project consists of constructing approximately 525 linear feet of 10" Fusible C900 PVC water main installed by directional boring, approximately 335 linear feet of 10" restrained joint ductile iron water main and appurtenances associated with replacement of Pitt County Bridge No. 29 over Fork Swamp on SR 1715 (Jack Jones Road) under North Carolina Department of Transportation, Transportation Improvement Program No. BR-4603 in the Eastern Pines Water Corporation Service Area in Pitt County, North Carolina. Bids must be submitted on the complete project. The name, address, and license number with limitation and classification of the Bidder must be plainly marked thereon. Contractors are notified that North Carolina G.S. 87 relating to licensing of contractors will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Rivers & Associates, Inc. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined and at the office of Eastern Pines Water Corporation, 5442 Eastern Pines Road, SR 1727, Greenville, North Carolina 27858. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Rivers & Associates, Inc. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
