The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. General Scope of Work: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, appurtenances, insurance, bonds and supervision to reconstruct the Copperas Creek CCC Footbridge. This includes but is not limited to replacing all existing and missing abutment posts and rails; and repairing the existing stone abutments as needed and in accordance with the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) details provided in the project drawings. Project Schedule: All work shall be completed within two hundred and seventy (270) calendar days commencing on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. This performance period includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work, including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement, installation, testing, inspection and delivery of documents described in Terms and Conditions. The project site/area for construction is accessible to the public. Any prospective bidder may travel to Bastrop State Park as a general visitor. Prospective bidders shall inform park staff at entrance gates that they are visiting to view the site for the footbridge construction project and may show a screenshot of this advertisement. In order to minimize disruption to park operations and protect visitor experience, TPWD must limit prospective bidder visits to only the dates of June 22, June 23, or June 26, 2023 and only between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The area for construction is best accessed by parking at the Copperas Creek Camping Loop and walking to camp sites 66 and 67. The CCC Footbridge is to be reconstructed over the creek in the area between sites 66 and 67. Please see the camp loop location more clearly in the Park Map enclosed with this advertisement as Attachment G. Bastrop State Park is located at 100 Park Road 1A in Bastrop, Texas 78602. The park entrance is about one mile east of the town of Bastrop on Texas 21; also accessible from the east on Texas 71; also accessible by way of Buescher State Park along Park Road 1. Visitors using GPS are advised to enter "Park Rd 1 Bastrop , TX 78602" for most direct mapping. This site visit is not mandatory, however, TPWD strongly encourages potential bidders to view the project site and offers no guarantee that the site will be accessible to potential bidders at any times other than what has been described in this solicitation package. Failure to take advantage of the site visit time listed herein may result in potential bidders who are unable to visit the project site at all. Failure to give proper consideration to site conditions when preparing the bid will not constitute grounds for additional compensation.
