Nash Road Extension involves the construction of approximately 4,150 LF of a 2-lane roadway with shoulders on new alignment from Beach Road to Route 10 including a bridge crossing Swift Creek that will consist of three continuous steel plate girder spans. The project will also include the construction of a roundabout at the existing intersection of Beach Road and Nash Road and a new intersection with the extension of Nash Road and Route 10. The new intersection at Route 10 will include a signal and turn lanes. Three stormwater management basins will be constructed along the new road to accommodate stormwater runoff. The work will include, but not be limited to: clearing, grading, asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, bridge, drainage structures, erosion & sediment control, signal installation, signage, pavement markings, adjustment of utilities and other items necessary for the completion of the work. If there is a discrepancy between the electronic files and the hard copies on file with the County, the hard copies govern.
