IN GENERAL, the work of this project consists of the repair and restoration of building facades and related work at the Bergen County Justice Center, located at Hudson, Main and Court Streets in Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey, complete as specified within these Contract Documents and shown on the Drawings entitled, "Bergen County Justice Center Exterior Historical Restoration Project, prepared by the Alaimo Group, and consisting of eighty-one (81) drawings as listed at the end of this Statement of Work. The Drawings are appended to these Specifications Prequalification for Bergen county justice center exterior historical restoration project. Questions Due Date: Aug 29th 2023, 2:00 PM EDT (Via Online Portal). Location of Project: Main, Hudson and Court Streets, Hackensack, NJ 07601 Temporary facilities and controls. o Repair of deteriorated marble, limestone and granite to match original materials in color and texture with the intent that the overall appearance shall match the original construction; further, patching materials shall match adjacent, existing work such that they are not visibly apparent and result in a "patchwork" appearance. o Broken pieces o Spalls o Cracks o Joints o Cleaning o Structural Repair of stone beams. o Roofing repair and replacement (limited). o Concrete paving replacement (limited). o Re-grading and lawn repair (limited). o Re-finish metal doors, frames, grilles and light fixtures. o Conservation of stone statuaries, friezes and column capitals as well as gilded bronze statuaries. o Replacement of terrazzo flooring. o New lightning protection system. o Re-routing of electrical conduits
