The TARP Mainstream Dropshaft DS-M73E at Armitage Avenue, SSA Project Site is located in Chicago, State of Cook, Illinois near the intersection of new West Armitage Avenue and North Dominic Street near North Branch of the Chicago River (NBCR). This Dropshaft DS-M73E will connect the future connecting structure to the TARP Mainstream Tunnel with the following general features: a concrete reinforced inlet box culvert, a concrete reinforced inlet structure, a concrete reinforced dropshaft with a divider wall, an odor control louver and frames, a concrete reinforced air separation chamber structure (boot), a concrete reinforced exit conduit connecting to the existing nonreinforced concrete lined TARP tunnel, a live connection to the TARP Mainstream Tunnel with additional reinforcement of the existing tunnel concrete lining at connection location, construction of a steel bulkhead at interface with a future connecting structure, necessary flow bypassing, and all other work as specified in the specifications and as shown on the plans. The site of construction is located near intersection of West Armitage Avenue and North Dominic Street, Chicago, County of Cook, State of Illinois. The estimated cost of the work under Contract 20-160-4H, is between $11,970,000.00 and $14,490,000.00. The Project Manager for this contract is Mr. Ghanshyam Patel. This Project Manager will provide online responses to online inquiries.
