A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Karen West Head Start Roof Replacement The work to be performed includes the following principal features, but is not limited there to: Work will take place on the Karen West Daycare located at 405 Karen Drive in Poplar Bluff, MO. Work items include and may not be limited to the removal and replacement of existing shingles, EPDM membrane, and all under layments, down to the deck, and some gutters, fascia, and other construction as needed to complete the work as shown on the drawings. Damaged decking to be removed and replaced per unit costs. New roofing systems, trim, painting and accessories as required for specified warranty shall be installed as shown on plans. Builder's Risk insurance shall be the responsibility of the contractor and included in your bid. Full scope of work is listed on the drawings. All material and equipment needed to complete the job shall be furnished by the contractor unless otherwise noted. Each bidder must submit a Surety Bid Bond in the amount of (5%) five percent of their bid amount. The selected General Contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Surety Bonds combined totaling the amount of the Contract and shall include its cost in their bid. The time of completion shall be 120 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. Liquidated Damages will be assessed in the amount of $500 per calendar day for each day beyond the contract completion date for which work is not deemed substantially complete.
