Background: The work is located in the Contrecoeur sector and involves infrastructure owned by ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada ("AMPLC") and Canadian National ("CN") in Contrecoeur, Quebec. The work is divided into five (5) components. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: Component 1: Grade Crossing #1 (PM 29.34) Reconstruction and widening of the railway road; Construction of three (3) grade crossings; Supply and installation of railway signalling; Dismantling of existing crossings including their signals Electrical work; Component 2: Relocation of a railway line in Feruni Reconstruction of the railway; Dismantling of the existing track; Component 3-1: Redevelopment of access road #1 (Feruni Parking) Construction of a roller-compacted concrete (RCC) road; Supply and installation of an HDPE culvert; Electrical work; Component 3-2: Redevelopment of Access Road #2 (West Complex) Construction of a path in granular materials; Supply and installation of an HDPE culvert; Electrical work; Component 4: Grade Crossing #2 (PM 29.69) Construction of the road crossing the railway tracks; Construction of two (2) grade crossings; Supply and installation of railway signalling; Supply and installation of HDPE culverts; Electrical work; Component 5-1: Pavement Rehabilitation #1 (between Feruni and the reduction plant) Reconstruction of a roller-compacted concrete (BCR) road; Electrical work; Component 5-2: Roadway Rehabilitation #2 (south of Crossing #1) Reconstruction of an asphalt road; Construction of two (2) grade crossings; Supply and installation of level crossing signalling; Electrical work.
