The work to be performed under the following specifications and accompanying plans is briefly summarized as follows: The work is located on Phillips Road in the Town of East Greenbush, Rensselaer County, NY. The work involves the installation of a new water main, consisting of 6 inch diameter PVC C-900 pipe, (approximately 2,250+/- ft. in length), gate valves, hydrants, fittings, and valve and valve box assemblies, copper water service lateral, pressure reducing valve chamber with valves and related appurtenances, water service reconnections and other necessary appurtenances thereto. Connections shall be made at both ends to existing Town water mains. There is one tapping sleeve and valve proposed. The new service lateral is for one home. Work is generally to be located in the road right of way. Work involving one new tapping sleeve and valve (8 inch) at Hays Road will require some pavement and subbase restoration. Restoration (top soil and seed) shall include all areas disturbed from the edge of pavement t o the new water main. Reference Number: 0000322491 Water Main Installation along Phillips Road.
