General Scope of Work: The Town of Maiden is seeking proposals to provide AMI water meters, AMI electric meters, and accompanying Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI) equipment necessary to collect the data from the meters and convey it to the utility meter data management/billing system. The installation of the meters, the meter data collection system, and related software is also to be provided. As a part of the proposal, the Town of Maiden will also require a propagation study by the successful Vendor to establish the infrastructure needs for the system. The initial need will include replacing approximately 2360 water meters, 1354 electric meters and AMI equipment required for the system to function and have the ability for the billing department to use and integrate data with Tyler Incode software. Installation of the meters, AMI equipment / infrastructure, AMR backup equipment, software, billing system interface, subscriptions, licensing, and installation and setup of all the equipment should be included with the bidder's proposal. All water meters accounts 2" and greater must be checked for right sizing. All proposals shall be for a complete turn-key product. The Town Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Compatibility and Integration with Tyler Incode (ERP10) 6. Custom drill or replace 50% of water meter lids currently without holes 7.
