This project consists of the replacement of the dust collection system at Ridgewood High School. The scope of work generally consists of the removal of the existing dust collection system ductwork and equipment in its entirety and provide an upgraded dust collection system for the Ridgewood High School Wood Shop. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to Kathryn Davenport, Interim Business Administrator, with the name of the project, "Ridgewood High School Dust Collection System Replacement Project" plainly marked on the front of the envelope. The bid opening process will commence at the advertised date and time located at the Ridgewood Board of Education District Board Offices, located within 49 Cottage Place, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450. Statement of Ownership Requirement: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, Bidders shall submit a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all persons and entities that own ten percent or more of its stock or interest of any type at all levels of ownership. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Contractor Questionnaire/Certification also must be submitted with the bid. The bid package will also include other documents that must be completed and returned with the bid. Failure to comply with Instructions to Bidders and to complete and submit all required forms, may be cause for disqualification and rejection of the bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a), 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities. The Ridgewood Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Board of Education.
