Mid-Columbia Libraries (MCL) is accepting proposals to provide and install a replacement security camera system for its Keewaydin Park branch. contract awarded July 21, 2023 The proposal shall include the purchase and installation of interior and outdoor IP-based security cameras and compatible NVR or cloud-based NVR service. The purpose of this proposal is to provide the library branch with a sufficient view of the interior and exterior activities of the facility to ensure the safety and security of its customers and the facility and to provide a digital record of these activities that can be reviewed as needed by staff. Acts of theft, property damage or personal injury sometimes require MCL to provide digital records of activities as documentation for law enforcement and insurance agencies.
