A response will be given for questions submitted by 5:00 p.m. CT on November 09, 2023. As of 7/5/2023, this project is canceled, with no award, and will re-bid at a later date. The scope of work for this project, described below, includes the following sections: I) Site Preparation, Plumbing and Electrical Rough-In, and Concrete Foundation; II) Engineered Metal Building Construction; III) Insulation; and IV) Door and Window Rough-In and Installation. The building construction specified below will be performed based on the drawings included in Attachment A. The building placement will be in accordance with the aerialsite map provided in Attachment B. The finished structure will measure thirty feet (30-0) wide, eighty-five feet and three inches (85-3) long, with walls measuring twelve feet (12) high, and a 7/12 pitched gable roof. Included in these dimensions are an air-conditioned laboratory and office space measuring thirty-six feet and eight inches (36-8) long by thirty feet (30-0) wide, and a three-bay garage area measuring forty-five feet and four inches (45-4) long by thirty feet (30-0) wide. An additional concrete slab, beginning at the leftmost corner of the front (north-facing) elevation, extends eight feet (8-0) outward from the building by eighty-seven feet and three inches(85-3) acrossthe front elevation of the building. The Districts Diverse Business Participation Goal on this project is 20% of the base proposal value of the contract. TRWD is looking for a qualified vendor to complete the first phase of constructing a water quality laboratory facility at the TRWD Richland Chambers complex. The project site will be located at 140 FM 416, Streetman, TX 75859. The vendor awarded this contract will provide all required materials and services outlined in this document, unless otherwise stated within. Deadline for Questions 06/28/2023 Evaluations and Discussions 07/03/2023- 07/07/2023 Request for Board Approval 07/18/2023 Issuance of a Notice of Award 07/19/2023 Post Proposal Documents Due 07/31/2023 Start Date 08/07/2023 For Proposals over $50,000, Bidders must submit a bid bond of at least two (2) percent of the total amount of the bid issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The proposal security shall be a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Offeror will promptly enter into a contract in the form attached hereto and furnish any necessary bonds required by the District within ten (10) calendar days after the Contract has been awarded. The proposal security shall be forfeited to the District should the Offeror fail to enter into a contract and/or fail to provide acceptable bonds. The proposal bond shall be made payable to the Tarrant Regional Water District. It is the plan holders responsibility to determine that a complete set of documents, as defined in Table of Contents are used in the preparation of a bid. Documents are made available for the sole purpose of obtaining bids for completion of the project and permission to obtain does not confer a license or grant permission or authorization for any other use. Authorization to download documents includes the right for plan holders to print documents for their sole use, provided they pay all costs associated with printing or reproduction. Printed documents may not be re-sold under any circumstances. Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process Electronically. Response to questions posted on the Procurement will be posted on Electronically by the District for the benefit of all bidders. A response will be given for questions submitted by end of day June 28, 2023. The District's DIVERSE BUSINESS Participation goal on this project is 20 % of the base bid value of the contract.
