Sealed bids for construction of Glennville Stormwater Improvements will be received Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: The removal of storm piping and replacement with larger storm piping with associated grading improvements within a residential neighborhood in Glennville, Georgia. The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as "utility contracting" in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a "Utility Contractor" and must also employ a "Utility Manager" certification holder who will have oversight of all the work. See Instruction to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding is to be provided by the American Rescue Act Plan Fund and the City of Glennville. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: The removal of storm piping and replacement with larger storm piping with associated grading improvements within a residential neighborhood in Glennville, Georgia. The project includes 440 LF of 18" RCP, 575 LF of 24" RCP, 290 LF of 30" RCP, 810 LF of 36" RCP, 800 LF of 42" RCP, 30 grate inlets, concrete headwall, roof inlet, and miscellaneous construction. Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred eighty (180) calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications.
