RFT - Construction of Dufferin Finch Parkette for the provision of all labour, materials and equipment necessary for the supply, manufacture, delivery, assembly, and installation of all elements required to construct a parkette at the intersection of Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue in the DUKE Heights Business Improvement Area The Contractor will be responsible for providing all the necessary resources to carry out, but not limited to, the following activities related to this project: - Protection of existing trees and adjacent site elements; - Removals, demolition & excavation; - Installation of cast-in-place (CIP) concrete pavement; - Installation of precast concrete unit pavement with patterns; - Installation of soil cells and tree grates; - Installation of trench drain, subgrade drainage, and planted water retention areas; - Installation of custom metal walkways with metal and wood handrails, screens and seating; - Installation of custom metal pergola with wood slats and metal screens; - Installation of site furnishings, including custom metal and wood seating, bike racks, and boulders; - Installation of lighting and electrical features, including light poles, handrails and pergola lighting; - Installation of sodding and naturalization seeding; - Installation of planting, soil and mulch; - Others as described in the drawings & specifications.
