The Construction Management Services contract will be executed in a Phased approach: Phase 1 for the design in which a Pre-Construction Services Agreement will be executed. Phase 2 for the potential early works and site development, and Phase 3 for the tendering, construction and post-construction, executing a CCDC 5B and the City's Supplementary Conditions. NOTE: Phase 2 is contingent on Steering Committee approval and Phase 3 is dependent on budget and Council approval. The Construction Manager shall have the ability, experience, equipment and financial stability to perform all construction tasks from initial consultation and design input, mobilization, construction, project handover and warranty periods. The City has received an estimated construction cost of $220-million (not including Cash Allowance or Contingencies) excluding HST for the construction of the new Transit facility, which includes General Expenses and Construction Manager's fee. The City of Brampton (the City) requires services from a construction management company (the Construction Manager) for the construction of the new Transit facility (the Facility), to be located near 10192 Highway 50 (Highway 50 and Cadetta Road), Brampton, ON. The City is seeking detailed Proposals from Construction Management companies interested in providing construction management services, including pre-construction and implementation of construction services, for the development of the new Transit facility in three development phases. The Facility is anticipated to be approximately 500,000 sq ft and will include an indoor garage to park 250 40' Standard Bus Equivalents (SBE); a service and maintenance garage; and administrative support spaces. This Project is phase 1 of a multi-phased development; subsequent phases include future expansion to full capacity following the re-alignment of Rainbow Creek and the floodplain, and future full fleet electrification.
