No Bids shall be received other than at the time and place herein designated for their receipt, unless mailed to the Borough Clerk at 70 Moonachie Road, Moonachie, NJ 07074 for receipt at the designated time and place. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000.00) must be submitted with the bid with a guaranty that if a contract is awarded, the bidder shall execute said contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended. The successful bidder shall be required to submit a Performance Bond in a sum equal to ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) of the annual value of the contract. Such Performance Bond must be furnished by the successful bidder simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract by such bidder. Further, the successful bidder must furnish the Policies or Certificates of Insurance required by the Contract documents. The Borough of Moonachie reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or to accept the bid which in its judgment shall be in the best interest of the citizens of the Municipality. Bids must be prepared and submitted in standard proposal form in the manner designated within the Information to Bidders.
