*As of June 20, 2023, no bids received.** To provide data for analysis, a total of 4 penetration test borings were performed. The borings were drilled to depths of about 14 1/2 feet. Our scope included geotechnical recommendations for the proposed new pavilion and bath building. This project will provide many park improvements, including construction of a large pavilion and modern restroom facilities. Goodhue County Byllesby Park is located at 5001 Hwy 19, Cannon Falls, MN 55009, along the southern shore of Lake Byllesby in Stanton Township. Construction of the Byllesby Park Pavilion & Essential Services project began in the spring of 2022 and continues into 2023. This project will provide many park improvements, including construction of a large pavilion and modern restroom facilities. Goodhue County is requesting a quote for installation of a septic holding tank system meeting the following parameters: o The Contractor shall install Phase I of the septic system according to the attached design specifications. o The Contractor shall install green Ultra-Rib PVC access risers. o The Contractor shall install a minimum of two (2) 24" lids on each of the 5,000 gallon tanks - one (1) on the inlet side and one (1) on the outlet side of each tank. o The Contractor shall install a minimum of one (1) 24" lid on the inlet side of the 10,000 gallon tank, and a minimum of one (1) 3' x 3' hatch on the outlet side of the 10,000 gallon tank. o The Contractor shall install an SJE Rhombus IFN41W114C3E4D6A8AC10EK17G24G27J IFS Duplex Panel W/C-Level Sensor and Panel Link Q20232025 custom panel (to allow for Phase II drain field installation in later years). o The County shall be responsible for installing and maintaining silt fence around the septic system installation site. The Contractor shall be responsible to replace silt fence for damage caused by willful negligence. o The Contractor shall be responsible for installing, maintaining, and securing construction safety fencing around the septic system installation site. o The County shall be responsible for hauling away fill materials that are not stockpiled for later use during the project, with trucking availability Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM pending a 24-hour notice. The Contractor shall provide equipment and staff to load the trucks. o The Contractor shall be responsible for final grading, including returning the project area to the original grade. o The County shall be responsible for erosion control, seeding, and turf establishment. o The Contractor must provide insurance meeting the standard insurance requirements listed on the following pages.
