**As of August 3,2023, project was awarded to Ammons & Blackmon Construction, awarded amount is $3,649,601.75 .** For furnishing all labor and materials, and performing all work required by the City of Foley and described as follows: Civil Site and Demolition work to be performed for the New Construction of the City of Foley Public Works Complex located at the following addresses: 508 E. Section Avenue; 709 N. Juniper Street; and 700 N. Juniper Street all located withing the city limits of Foley, Alabama 36535. Plans, Drawings and Specifications are on file and may be viewed at the City of Foley City Hall, Foley, Alabama, located at 407 E. Laurel Avenue, Foley, Alabama 36535 No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after opening of bids. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. All Bids with their guarantee, must be enclosed in a sealed, opaque envelope, clearly identified on the outside as "Sealed Bid" with Bid Name, City of Foley's name, and address, and the Bidder's name, address, and State of Alabama General Contractor's License Number (Mandatory by State law). If multiple bids are submitted, each bid must be in a separate envelope. Failure to observe the instructions contained herein will constitute grounds for rejection of your bid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any portions thereof, and to waive technical errors or informalities, and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of the CONTRACT, whichever is in the best interest of the City of Foley.
