The City of Fitchburg invites sealed bids for tenant fit-out and interior renovations of 166 Boulder Drive space forthe temporary relocation of Fitchburgs Public Library. This is a rebid for the project which includes architectural work only. Associated mechanical and electrical work will be bid separately. Bids will be publicly open and a bid summary posted to the City website within 24 hours after the opening. SUB BIDS: Sealed bids from DCAMM qualified sub bidders have been received in the category of painting. BID SECURITY: Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount must accompany each General Bid and each FiledSub-Bid. PERFORMANCE, LABOR AND MATERIAL BONDS: The successful General Bidder and sub-bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth. Wage Requirements : This contract is subject to Prevailing Wage requirements and the contractor shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with the applicable wage rate schedule from DLS included with the solicitation documents. Estimated Construction Cost $225,000.00. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
