The scope of work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required for a Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR) and reconstruction of 1.26 miles of Drake Road near Paulden, Arizona. The project begins at the terminus of the existing concrete apron near State Route 89 intersection and ends at FS 680A approximately 0.5 miles south from the BNSF Railroad Crossing. Major work includes 17,795 square yards of FDR with cement treatment up to 12 inches, 990 cubic yards of aggregate base placement at 2 inches thick, and 3,550 tons of asphaltic concrete paving, 3-inch mat with 3/4" high traffic mix and PG 64-22 binder. Other associated work includes paving fabric removal prior to FDR, SWPPP implementation, installation of pavement safety edge, shoulder build-up and grading, and restoration of roadway striping and markings. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Yavapai County. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors.
