This Request for Bid is for the purchase and installation of Safety and Security Film to be installed at the Bernalillo County Headquarters (BernCo @Alvarado Square) 415 Silver, Albuquerque NM 87102. The product to be bid is specified below and shall be an optically clear glass shatter resistant and abrasion resistant window film which, when applied to the interior window surface, will help hold broken glass together. The film should be a tearresistant window film designed to provide an increased measure of protection in a broad range of uses including basic glass fragment retention, spontaneous glass breakage, seismic preparedness, safety glazing, bomb blast mitigation, Smash and Grab or Break and Entry events. Anticipated approximate square footage of vertical glazing: 2,600 sf. Proposer to Field Dimension upon contract award Ballistic film installation on all windows is estimated at a total square foot for installation is approximately 2,600 sf. The Contractor is responsible for measuring area to ensure that the appropriate amount of material is provided.
