As of August 2,2023, project is not on bid anymore since they got there own architect and engineer to do the design. Las Animas County is looking for innovative solutions for a new Judge's Bench, clerk's workstation, witness stand/bench, and bar to be designed in an existing courtroom in a 1912 building using current building codes and complying with any mandatory ADA regulations. The Firm will provide a complete set of "plans/drawings" and cost estimate that the County will use to solicit bids for the building phase of the bench. Electrical, Audio, Video, and acoustics should be taken into consideration for the design of this project. Additionally, and not included in this project's scope but for informational purposes only, the courtroom will have re-designed seating and attorney tables to match the trim of the new Bench. These furnishings will be provided by the Judicial Department and are not part of this RFQ/project's scope of work.
