**As of August 17, 2023 this project has been cancelled and currently there are no plans on rebidding at this time.** Project consists of construction of the Seed Academy Lake Cumberland Regional AgriTech Center for the Russell Co. Industrial Development Authority. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Russell Co. Industrial Development Authority, government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for the following: 1) 5% Bid Bond; and 2) A performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246 and Title VI and other requirements. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or the specifications and may waive any informalities or reject any and all Bids. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the proposer. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Sealed bid should be labeled "The Seed Academy AgriTech Center Project". Federal Wage Rates DO apply to this project. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Bidding is for the sole benefit of the Russell Co. Industrial Development Authority. The Russell County Industrial Development Authority is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
