**As of August 17, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. Award is anticipated the end of the month or the beginning of next month to Sterling Excavating.** Cont 1: Replace & add watermains. Includes HMA replacement curb & gutter, sanitary, storm basin, lawns, sidewalk, & lead service lines. Cont 2: Install 517 water meters. Cont 3: Repainting of interior, new fall protection device and relocation of antenna. Contract 1: Replacement and looping of approximately 2100 feet of 10" and 21,500 feet of 8" watermains, water service line replacements, associated cold milling, HMA replacement, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement along with lawn restoration with other appurtenances. Scope also includes replacement of lead service lines from new watermains to inside the customer's structure. Contract 2: Providing & installing 517 water meters in the sizes specified while coordinating all work with the City. Contract 3: Repainting of wet interior with epoxy paint system along with new fall protection device and relocation of antenna cables while coordinating all work with the City. This DWSRF 7699-01 Water System Upgrades is comprised of three contracts that will be bid seprately: Contract 1 - Watermain Replacements Contract 2 - Water Meter Replacements Contract 3 - Water Tower Improvements WAGES: This project is subject to prevailing wages.
