Cortland County is seeking proposals for complete tear-off, repair and replacement of shingled portion of roof located at 37 Church St., Cortland, New York 13045. A site visit should be scheduled with the Cortland County Buildings and Grounds Department for roof access and inspection. It is approximately 3,700 square feet, but should be verified by bidder. Contingencies should be a consideration for unknown repairs. Roof has leaked in the past and a soft spot has been identified. This is a prevailing wage contract. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Strip all current shingles and underlayment from existing roof; 2. Make structural repairs as identified in the process of stripping by removing and replacing damaged materials; and 3. Resurface roof with 50-year architectural shingles, (color to be determined), underlayment, and ice shield. Questions or clarifications of itemsin this RFP must be submitted in writing to the contact person listed no later than close of business June 7, 2023
