The interior facility painting projects generally consist of various types of finishes including, but not limited to, masonry block, drywall, wood, metal and fiberglass. These projects also include the painting of baseboards, chair rail, trim, wood and metal doors, partition wall (air walls), various wood planks, cedar, wood beams and wood staining. Removal of decorative items, positioning of furniture, etc. prior to painting and reinstallation/repositioning after painting may be required. Proper surface preparation is required prior to applying finishes, removal of any surface contaminants that may prevent proper adhesion of paint, sanding, rust removal, caulking, sealing, priming and painting of various interior/exterior surfaces and finishes. The Supplier is to complete the painting projects per the SHERWIN WILLIAMS Repaint Product Submittal Specifications, manufactures specifications and bid package specifications. The manufacture of choice for the District will be Sherwin-Williams (manufacturer/brand). The District shall supply the paint product. All questions received by 4:00 PM on August 14, 2023 will be considered. Questions will not be answered over the phone. Questions must be in writing and emailed to Crystal Ford-Bellamy at Crystal.Ford@districtgov.org Performance Bond Surety if submittal is for a project bid at $200,000.00 and over Performance(100%) Contractor shall be assessed liquidated damages in the amount of $250.00 per day for every day the project is incomplete after the project completion deadline, barring unforeseen circumstances as approved by the District
