GAOA Fishlake CG Water System DM Reduction - Phase 1 Fishlake National Forest DESCRIPTION OF WORK This project includes work at two sites: The work at Maple Grove Campground includes: Installation of new equipment and plumbing in an existing utility box, including a chlorinator and surge tank Installation of a new inlet valve on an existing underground water storage tank. The work at Fish Lake Basin includes: Removal and disposal of existing water meters Installation of a new automatic meter reading (AMR) system, including water meters, utility boxes, related plumbing work and radios Furnishing a new handheld receiving unit Installing a new section of buried waterline. Project Location The work shall be performed at two project locations: Maple Grove Campground: The Project is located on the Fillmore District of the Fishlake National Forest, Millard County, Utah. GPS Coordinates: 39.017276, -112.089189. It is located approximately 29 miles by road north of Richfield, Utah. From Interstate 70, the project may be accessed via Utah road 50 and Maple Grove Road. Fish Lake Basin: The Project is located on the Fremont District of the Fishlake National Forest, Sevier County, Utah. GPS Coordinates: 38.531000, -111.740957. It is located approximately 42 miles by road southeast of Richfield, Utah. From Interstate 70, the project may be accessed via Utah roads 119, 24 and 25. Contract Time: 60 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed with an anticipated start date of Fall 2023. The magnitude of proposed project is between $100,000 to $250,000. Site Visit June 15, 2023 at 1400 mountain time, meet at Twin Creeks Day Use Parking Lot Project drawings will be provided as attachments to the Request for Proposal (RFP). The complete solicitation package will be attached and made available only through SAM.gov, https://sam.gov/content/home on or within 15 days of this notice. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from SAM.gov. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on SAM.gov. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to update files. This requirement is being solicited as a Small Business set-aside, with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. A single award will be made from the solicitation. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http:www.sam/gov/ before award of contract; failure to register in the SAM database may cause your firm to be ineligible for the award and removed from consideration.
