Purpose: The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 located at 5075 Westheimer Road, Galleria Financial Center, Suite 750, Houston, Texas, hereby issues the following Sources Sought to Request Information (RFI) with the intent of determining the contractor interest, capabilities, qualifications of potential businesses, nonmanufacturer rule compliance, Buy American Act compliance, Trade Agreement compliance and estimated industry pricing information for market research and estimated budgetary purpose for Pharmacy Mixing Room Fixtures Contractor shall provide all shipping, installation (if required), equipment, personnel, labor and testing for Pharmacy Mixing Room Fixtures. This Sources Sought is published for market research purposes. This Sources Sought will be used to determine if a set-aside for any small business program is appropriate. Government anticipates competitive, firm fixed price contract. Please review this announcement, respond to questions below and review all attachments in their entirety. Government request that interested offerors complete all questions below, provide required documentation, descriptive literature and authorization letter as described below. The Government is in no way obligated to do business with or to enter into any form of contract with any person, firm or other entity that receives or responds to this announcement. 3. Objective: To find qualified and certified contractors with the capability to provide the following: Pharmacy Mixing Room Fixtures. Must have the following benefits Infection Control i. All work taking place in hazardous and non-hazardous mixing rooms (1B120, 1B120A, 1B121, and 1B122) requires specific garbing and cleaning of tools per the VA pharmacy infection control requirements and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 797 & 800 standards ii. Contractor will abide by all VA pharmacy policies and guidelines in the completion of this work. Fixtures Replacement i. HEPA Filters 1. Demo 7 existing diffusers 2. Provide and install 7 diffusers a. Diffuser requirements: 24" x 48" Price Industries LFDC laminar flow diffusers with HEPA filters. Includes aluminum plenum and face construction, standard white finish, 10" inlet, butterfly dampers, equalization baffles, aerosol injection system, and .5" thick aluminum foilbacked fiberglass external insulation. ii. Light Fixtures 1. Demo 8 total existing light fixtures 2. Provide and install 8 total fixtures with 2'x4' LED USP 800 compliant fixtures a. USP 797 & 800 fixtures should come standard with Indigo-Clean white continuous disinfection and Indigo disinfection or approved equivalent technology b. Fixture controls should be programmed to run Indigo disinfection cycle when rooms are unoccupied to not disrupt pharmacy and Environmental Management Service (EMS) staff work tasks c. Seal perimeter of fixture frames with submittal approved sealant in accordance with USP 797 & 800 and VA policies d. Training i. Prior to install, host training with engineering, pharmacy, and housekeeping staff on system safety, control, and Indigo-Clean technology and provide handouts for each group iii. Touch-up paint around mounted fixtures or accessories to match existing iv. Provide and install clean room sealant on each screw head and perimeter of each item installed in cleanroom to meet VA infection control standards. Sealant to be approved by VA COR for use in USP 797/800 environments. v. Reference pictures, specs, and drawings can be found in Attachment A. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
