** As of September 20,2024 project has been awarded to Heycon, LLC with an awarded amount of $3,273,444.50.** Expansion includes the construction of Four (4) Baseball Fields, Dugouts, Fencing, Sidewalks, Parking Lot Additions and Reconstruction, Septic System, Storm Drainage Upgrades, Striping and Signage, A Two-Story Concession/Restroom/Scorekeepers Facility, Electrical System Upgrade, and Lighting. Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner, and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) Contractors shall have a South Carolina Contractor License. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Chester County reserves the right to accept or reject any, all or any part of bids received as a result of this request, to waive any informalities or to cancel in part or in its entirety this request, if it is in its best interest to do so. This project consists of providing all required materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete the construction of Rodman Sports Complex Improvements Generally, the expansion includes the construction of Four (4) Baseball Fields, Dugouts, Fencing, Sidewalks, Walking Path, Parking Lot Additions and Reconstruction, Septic System, Irrigation System, Storm Drainage Upgrades, Striping and Signage, A Two-Story Concession/Restroom/Scorekeepers Facility, Electrical System Upgrade and Lighting and Landscaping. The deadline for submitting questions is 5:00PM July 16th, 2024. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. *As of July 22, 2024, addendum 1 has been issued.
