The Baker County Board of County Commissioners (the County) is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to provide various system upgrades to existing keyless access systems located at the Baker County Courthouse, 339 East Macclenny Avenue. Additionally, this project consists of the major features included as the Base Bid. All prices and proposals must include: 1. Delivery to Baker County Courthouse. Baker County is exempt from sales tax. 2. Installation and certification of all equipment. 3. All equipment and services itemized. 4. An optional add-on for relocation within the facility of all existing centralized control equipment to another location within the facility that the County may or may not choose to implement at time of award. This optional location will be disclosed as part of the mandatory walkthrough. 5. Any and all cost associated with any permits, fees, inspections, certifications, etc. Prime Bidders must be fully licensed to do business in the State of Florida and must have successfully constructed, as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor, at least two (2) projects of the type of construction proposed for the project and must have been in business as a Contractor for at least three (3) years. The Prime Bidder must have a current Certified General Contractors license at the time the bid is submitted. All technical questions relative to this project must be submitted in writing to Kayla Riggs at kayla.riggs@bakercountyfl.org no later than 12:00 p.m. August 25, 2023. Baker County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor formalities, and to award the bid/proposal that best serves the interests of Baker County. Baker County also reserves the right to award the base bids and any alternate bids in any combination that best suits the needs of the County.
