The project includes the following work: Contract 1:Video Inspection and Cleaning of Sewer Main, Lining or Replacement of Failed Sanitary Sewer, Lining or Replacement of Failed Manholes Contract 2:Consolidate the east and west treatment plants at the east treatment plant site. The east treatment plant will be upgraded with a new design flow of 98,000 gpd utilizing two parallel the Moving Bed Bioreactor technology with a UV unit. A pump station will be utilized to pump west flow to the east plant. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office during normal business hours which is normally 8 am 4 pm, Monday through Friday, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Builder's Association, 3632 West Truman Blvd., Jefferson City, MO 65109; online at ePlan at eplanbidding.com; and the office of the Engineer, MECO Engineering Company, Inc., 2701 Industrial Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Upon request and receipt of the document fee indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via regular ground delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Of-fice. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information to Bidders. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention of bidder is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon andor State Prevailing Wage Rates to be paid under the contract, segregated facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. MBE, WBE and Section 3-DBE bidders are encouraged to bid. No bidder may withdrawal his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
