The Darien Downtown Development Authority, hereinafter referred to as Owner, is currently requesting proposals to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and other appurtenances to construct two public parking lots in Darien, Georgia. The parking lot on 1st Street is located on lot 109A and is proposed to be approximately 0.19 acres and includes clearing, grading, leveling, installing base material, pervious pavement, and signage. The parking lot on Broad Street is approximately 0.16 acres and is located in the right-of-way across from First Georgia Hardware & Marine, Inc. This parking lot will consist of clearing, grading, leveling, installing base material, concrete paving, striping, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, and storm drainage improvements. BID BOND: All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. PERFORMANCE/ PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Proposer, if awarded this contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. PAYMENT TERMS: The successful Proposer will receive monthly payments within 30 days after receipt and approval by the Owners Representative of a valid invoice for those services rendered. The owner reserves the right to waive all technicalities, reject any or all proposals and make the Award in its best interest. Deadline for Questions Friday, June 16, 2023
