The Project entails the installation of acoustical panels and diffusers inside the San Juan Bautista Community Hall, located at 10 San Jose Street in San Juan Bautista. The Community Hall is approximately 3,485 square feet and is used for a variety of public and private events. Currently, the acoustics inside the Hall are poor due to the existing surface materials on the walls, ceilings, and floors. The purpose of the Project is to improve the sound quality inside the Hall by installing sound-absorbing and sound-diffusing materials on the walls and ceiling. License. At the time of award of contract, the successful bidder shall possess a Class "B" contractor's license The Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included with the Contract Documents. The bid security must guarantee that within ten days after City issues the Notice of Award, the successful bidder will execute the Contract and submit the payment and performance bonds, insurance certificates and endorsements, and any other submittals required by the Contract Documents and as specified in the Notice of Award.
