Project Description: Work consists of selective demolition of existing office, bally building and finishes to make way for new office and collection storage. The collection storage will have a chemical agent fire suppression, its own HVAC and be separated with a non-code required rated wall. Replacement of windows with new framing with insulated metal panels will provide both security as well as thermal barrier to the new enclosed space. This project is within the exiting Visitor Center. The facility will continue operations throughout the construction period and maintaining envelope security and weather tightness is of upmost importance. New floorings, interior finishes, lighting, alarm systems are all included in the area of remodel. Project Location: Pipestone National Monument, 36 Reservation Ave, Pipestone, MN 56164. Magnitude of Project: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Bonds: Required as stated in block 12. A bid guarantee is required 20%. Bid bond is required to be submitted on a Standard Form 24.
