A. The contractual obligations for Electronic Security Systems work shall refer to shop drawing level systems design, supply, installation, wiring, repair, and maintenance of the upgraded security system, including labor and materials by the approved Contractor. 1. Provide conduits, conductors, and cables required for systems specified in Division 26 and Division 28. 2. Provide electrical work, electrical infrastructure, junction boxes, and special backboxes required for new equipment. Provide distribution of UPS power to security equipment and to each system specified in Division 26 and Division 28. 3. Provide the upgrade of Video Surveillance System (VSS) consisting of the following: a. Install new IP Video Surveillance Cameras as shown on Contract Drawings. Contractor shall coordinate exact installation locations with field conditions to avoid existing devices or disturbances in the areas of installation b. Provide all new Category 6 cabling, fiber optic cabling, conduit, pathways, infrastructure, and power supplies as required for a complete and function Video Surveillance System. c. Provide new Video Management System and camera licensing as manufactured by Bosch. 1) "The above item has been approved by the Department as a proprietary item. No other item will be accepted. Section 9.6 of the General Conditions to the Construction Contract does not apply to the above item". d. Provide new video storage, servers, and equipment for recording and playback of all new video surveillance cameras provided under this project. e. Provide new equipment racks, PoE network switches, patch panels, power supplies, circuits and Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS). f. Provide new video surveillance workstations and monitors as required and shown on the Contract Drawings.
