A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The apparent low bidder for this project is Milbocker & Sons with a bid of $4,337,578.50. Estimated cost is $1.1million. The project includes the following approximate quantities of work: 1,000 feet of sewer trench excavation, adjusting sewer and repairing pile support connections, and backfilling. 600 feet of road reconstruction including pavement removal, grading, subbase, aggregate base, geogrid, hma paving, and concrete curb & gutter. Wastewater basin geomembrane liner replacement. Miscellaneous underground utility work and surface restoration. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of Bid opening. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond in a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid price, made payable to the City of South Haven. December 8, 2023 (on or before): Milestone 1: all underground and substantial completion of site work and road restoration up to aggregate base course April 17, 2024 (on or before) Substantial Completion May 1, 2024 (on or before) Completed and ready for final payment All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
