PROJECT DESCRIPTION : A. Summary Project Description: Renovation of men's and women's locker rooms to provide aesthetic and functional upgrades for the Rock Island Fitness and Activities Center. B. Contract Scope: Construction, demolition, and renovation. The successful contractor shall provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 5% of the proposal. PREVAILING RATE OF WAGES : Pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act 820 ILCS 130/0.01-12 all workers on this project must be paid the Illinois prevailing rate of wages for the county where the contract is being performed and for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract. CONTRACT TIME A. In the event our bid is accepted within the time stated above, we will 1. Meet substantial completion for the project by November 1, 2023. 2. Meet final completion for the project by November 15, 2023. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the bid which, in the Owner's judgment, is in the Owner's best interests.
