A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Notice is hereby given, that the City of Jasonville, Greene County, Indiana, by and through its City Council herein referred to as the Owner, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Jasonville/Shakamak State Park Regionalization & Wastewater System Improvements project, Division A – Shakamak State Park Collection System & Conveyance System Improvements and Division B – Jasonville Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements. The project will consist of two divisions of work as follows: Division A – Shakamak State Park Collection System & Conveyance System Improvements 1. Rehabilitation of approximately 2,800 feet of sewers within the Shakamak State Park’s collection system via cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) lining along with other miscellaneous improvements to the Park’s collection system as identified in the plans. 2. Upgrades and improvements to Shakamak’s Lift Station No. 5 including new pumps, valves, chemical feed system corrosion & odor control, and electrical & controls improvements. 3. Installation of approximately 5,900 feet of 6-inch PVC (or 8” HDPE) force main from Shakamak State Park’s Lift Station No. 5 to the Main Street/Fry Street intersection in Jasonville. 4. Installation of approximately 9,600 feet of 8-inch PVC (or 8” HDPE) force main from the Main Street/Fry Street intersection along Fry Street to Shanklin Street and then discharging at the influent structure at Jasonville’s WWTP. 5. Jack and bore installation under Indiana Railroad along Shanklin Street with approximately 172 feet of 8” PVC force main carrier pipe within a 24” steel casing. 6. Decommissioning and demolition of the existing Shakamak State Park WWTF. 7. Clean closure of the existing lagoon at the existing Shakamak State Park WWTF. 8. Modifications at the headworks of Jasonville’s WWTP including furnishing and installing new submersible pumps in the existing wetwell and installing a new mechanical fine screen provided by the City. 9. Site work including pavement repair, drive repair, erosion control, maintenance of traffic, and lawn restoration/seeding. Installation of a new Submerged Attached Growth Reactor (SAGR) treatment system with new blowers. 2. Installation of a new flow equalization basin (FEB) for additional storage during peak flows with mechanical aerators. 3. All associated piping, site work, and electrical and controls improvements as required for the new SAGR treatment system & FEB.
