Bids shall be prepared for each of two scenarios for acceptance by the County Commissioners. The scenarios include: 1. Scenario #1: Two-way traffic will be maintained for local and thru-traffic during construction. 2. Scenario #2: Roadways entering the construction area will be closed to all traffic except for local traffic that cannot be detoured. A single bid bond of 5% shall be included for the greater of the two scenarios and shall be submitted with the bid packet. If your company cannot provide this bond your bid may not be considered responsive. The apparent low bidder will be informed after the bids have been reviewed and a performance bond will be required prior to official award of the contract. All questions and communications relative to this project shall be directed to the Engineer prior to opening of the Bid Proposals.
