Contractor License: Any Contractor performing the proposed work must be a licensed contractor by the State of Georgia. License numbers are requested to be written on the face of the bid envelope, but not required. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Work To Be Done: The Work To Be Done shall consist of furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary to construct the Sanitary Sewer Infrastructure including +/-3,584 linear feet of pipe burst 6" up to 10" HDPE, +/-557 linear feet of 8" PVC sanitary sewer open cut, +/- 132 vertical feet of new manholes, 88 vertical feet of manhole rehabilitation, short side and long side sewer service transfers, abandoning existing sewer main, pavement and concrete replacement, and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and construction drawings The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing.
